Staff & Board
Meet our incredible staff and board of directors!

Kay O'Reilly
Director
Since 2009, Kay has served as the Director of the Chapel Pantry at Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church. Drawing on her background as a caterer, she has applied her expertise in food costs, nutrition, inventory management, and capacity building to transform the pantry from a small, non-perishables operation into a full-service, client-choice pantry. Today, the Chapel Pantry provides fresh produce, dairy, meat, eggs, and baked goods, operating out of a robust facility that evolved from a small closet in the parish hall. Under Kay's leadership, the pantry now serves thousands of families annually, distributing nearly 2 million pounds of food in 2023.
Kay has also contributed to the wider fight against hunger as a former member of the Board of Directors for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. Additionally, she continues her work on the Foodbank's Agency Advisory Council, where she previously served as chairperson.

Liz supports Kay in managing daily operations, including social media and website updates, donor and volunteer communications, newsletters, and administrative tasks that keep the Pantry running smoothly.
Matthew Kundmueller
Wednesday Shift Supervisor
Matthew splits his time between maintaining Pantry equipment and facilities and supervising our Wednesday volunteer team. A former volunteer himself, Matthew joined our staff a year ago and brings hands-on experience to his dual role.
Doug Larkin
Transportation & Logistics Coordinator
Doug is the Pantry's transportation and logistics expert, driving our two refrigerated trucks and managing retail rescue store pickups. A dedicated volunteer since 2014 who joined our staff two years ago, Doug ensures we can receive and distribute more than 400 tons of rescued food annually to help feed our neighbors.
Tracey Larkin
Operations Supervisor
Tracey has been a cornerstone of our team since volunteering in 2011 and joining staff five years ago. As Kay's "right hand," she helps manages guest check-in, database operations, and volunteer supervision. Her dedication and consistent efforts are essential to our daily service delivery.
Board of Directors
The Chapel Pantry is guided by a committed board of directors who bring diverse backgrounds and expertise to our operations and governance. These community leaders provide strategic oversight, ensuring our organization remains fiscally responsible while staying true to our mission of serving neighbors in need. Their collective wisdom and guidance help us navigate challenges and pursue opportunities that strengthen our ability to address food insecurity in ou area.
