Mission Statement
Motivated by Christ’s love, the Chapel Pantry strengthens the community by serving our neighbors in need. We do this by providing food assistance with compassion, respect and hospitality to all.

The Chapel Pantry wishes to be a welcoming refuge to people seeking food assistance. Our motto is “Good Food and a Warm Welcome.”

Compost Together: A New Community Initiative at ESC
The Chapel Pantry and Eastern Shore Chapel is partnering with Tidewater Compost to help reduce food waste, support sustainability, and care for creation. Join today by signing up for convenient compost drop-off at ESC or residential pickup service

How to Participate
Eastern Shore Chapel parishioners can join the Tidewater Compost program in two simple ways:
Onsite Drop-Off Kiosk — $10/month
Use the compost drop-off kiosk located at Eastern Shore Chapel. After signing up, you’ll receive a code to access the kiosk anytime and drop off your food scraps and compostables.
Residential Doorstep Service — Discounted Rates Available
Prefer pickup from home? Tidewater Compost offers weekly or biweekly residential service. Simply collect your compostables in the provided bins, and Tidewater Compost will swap them with clean containers on your scheduled pickup day.
How to Sign Up
Visit www.tidewatercompost.com and select either “Drop-Off” or “Residential” service.
